Woven from fine local handspun wool, on a durable cotton foundation, high-quality dyes to achieve a beautiful unique Abrash colouring,
A highly desired quality, Abrash refers to when different shades of the same colour are present on a carpet, revealing expert use of dyes and small scale manufacturing of the carpet.
Nomadic carpets are unique pieces of art, handwoven over many years through improvisation and reference to folk iconography specific to each region and using fine locally sourced and handspun wool.
