Vintage Hamadan Lachak Toranj Persian Rug
ABOUT THIS PIECE
This semi-antique Lachak Toranj rug has been woven from high-quality handspun wool on a cotton foundation with natural dyes in Hamedan, western Iran.
Hamedan carpets are famous for their thick and tight pile, firmness, and durability so they are perfectly suited for highly frequented rooms.
This carpet features an iteration of the famous Lachak Toranj motif and despite being woven over half a century ago still maintains its natural lustre and shine due to high-quality materials and tightly woven construction.
