Masterfully Handwoven in Toiserkan, Hamedan Western Persia.
Utilizing an improvised iteration of the traditional Lachak toranj motif, this carpet features a sun-shaped Central medallion ( Toranj) with 4 floral Lachaks surrounding it in each corner.
Toiserkan rugs are famous for their blending of city and nomadic styles present in central Zagros. They are made of sustainably and locally sourced handspun wool and distinctive use of dyes to create deep navy, blue and lively red colours.
