ABOUT THIS PIECE
Handwoven using handspun camel wool, and sometimes quality sheep wool in Sarab, northwestern Iran. These remarkable rural carpets are woven using double-weft symmetrical knots with woollen pile on cotton foundation making them durable and firm.
in terms of design, Sarab carpets are known for their hexagonal Toranjs, geometric motifs and eye-catching use of creamy and ivory colours.

Small beside a 3-seater sofa. It suits a reading corner, under an armchair or across an entry better than a sofa setting.
Only 8 cm of rug would show beyond even a four-seat table, so the chairs would sit off it. This one belongs in a living room or bedroom.
Only 29 cm of rug would show either side of a queen bed. It works, but 45 cm or more looks settled. At the foot of the bed it suits well.
