Made from local and sustainably sourced handspun wool Baluch rugs are soft and flexible yet extremely resilient and have a real feel of age and history behind them.
Baluch handwoven carpets are distinguished by their captivating designs, prominently featuring the repetition of camel footprints or pear-shaped bergamots encircled by intricate geometric borders. The patterns found in Baluchi carpets are notably complex and geometric in nature.
A striking colour palette is achieved through the contrast of dark blue or red with white, yellow, and orange accents. The dominance of deep and bold blue further enhances the allure of Baluch handwoven carpets, while ivory serves as a complementary contrasting colour.
