This semi antique Qom Fine Khooshei carpet reflects the precision and artistry of one of Persia’s most respected weaving centres. Finely handwoven in Qom, it features a detailed central medallion set within a rich red field, surrounded by floral motifs and balanced arabesques. The clarity of the design comes from a high knot count, allowing each element to appear crisp, refined and beautifully layered.
The palette uses warm golds, soft blues and deep reds created with traditional organic dyes that give the carpet depth and long lasting vibrancy. Woven with fine locally sourced wool on a cotton foundation, it combines softness with strength.

About the length of a 3-seater sofa, so it sits just in front of it with the coffee table on it. Floated like this it reads as a deliberate island rather than a rug that came up short.
Only 28 cm of rug would show beyond even a four-seat table, so the chairs would sit off it. This one belongs in a living room or bedroom.
Only 29 cm of rug would show either side of a queen bed. It works, but 45 cm or more looks settled. At the foot of the bed it suits well.
