ABOUT THIS PIECE
Sanneh carpets are handwoven wool rugs produced in Sanandaj, western Iran. Renowned for their intricate designs, vibrant colours, and high-quality craftsmanship, these carpets are highly sought after.
The traditional motifs incorporated into Sanneh carpets are often influenced by both Persian and Kurdish cultural designs, and are created using a wide range of weaving techniques passed down through generations of local artisans.
SPECIFICATIONS
How it sits in your room.
197 × 105 CM (6'6" × 3'5"), DRAWN TO SCALE WITH TYPICAL AUSTRALIAN FURNITURE SIZES.
Small beside a 3-seater sofa. It suits a reading corner, under an armchair or across an entry better than a sofa setting.
Only 13 cm of rug would show beyond even a four-seat table, so the chairs would sit off it. This one belongs in a living room or bedroom.
Only 22 cm of rug would show either side of a queen bed. It works, but 45 cm or more looks settled. At the foot of the bed it suits well.
Measure the room, or just the area the rug should cover, and we will draw this rug in it to scale.
