ABOUT THIS PIECE
Finely handwoven in the Mazandaran region of northern Persia, this Fine Mazandaran Minimalist Blue Fields Kilim represents one of the rare and highly sought-after weaves of the area. Crafted from locally handspun wool and dyed with 100% natural pigments, it reflects the authenticity and skill of a centuries-old tradition.
The composition is made from vertical panels, each woven on a narrow horizontal loom and then carefully hand-stitched together, forming a striking design reminiscent of abstract modernist art.
Mazandaran kilims are prized for their rarity, minimalist beauty, and exceptional craftsmanship. Durable and timeless, this piece is both a functional textile and a collectible work of art.
