These handwoven Qashqai Toubreh Cushions bring new life to an antique Qashqai toubreh that is over a century old. Care has been taken to restore this piece for many more years of enjoyment.
Cushion backs are handwoven, made from pure wool, and naturally dyed.
Qashqai weaving techniques and more generally the weaving traditions of Fars are registered as world intangible heritage by UNESCO.
Persian weaving techniques, in general, are renowned for their durability and longevity, and the timeless designs have been appreciated for hundreds of years.
