ABOUT THIS PIECE
Handwoven in Miane, northwestern Persia, this semi-antique carpet runner has been made from quality handspun wool on a durable cotton foundation.
Miane carpets are known for their fine weaves using double-weft symmetrical knots, locally sourced high-quality wool and dyes, diverse design types and high-contrast colour rendering.
Woven over half a century ago this carpet still maintains its natural lustre and shine due to high-quality materials and tightly woven construction.
