One of the distinctive characteristics of Kashan rugs is their exceptional fineness, so that the details of all the motifs are clearly visible, as well as the velvet-like surface which is due to the use of excellent wool. furthermore, Kashan is the birthplace of dyeing in the world, and this has led to the use of superior dyes in Kashan carpets.
