ABOUT THIS PIECE
Handwoven in Seysan village, northwest Persia, using high-quality handspun wool and natural dyes on a sturdy cotton foundation.
Hailing from the region where the legendary “Heriz” carpets of the 19th century were crafted, finding pieces of this caliber is a true rarity! While the design vocabulary closely mirrors the iconic Heriz rugs from around 1900-1910, what sets this piece apart is its extraordinarily unique and vibrant color palette. This is a remarkable discovery that celebrates both tradition and distinctiveness!
