Antique Jabal Barezi Soumak Kilim 2.4 SQM
Antique fine woven Soumak from the JabalBarez mountains in Kerman. Handwoven in early 19th or late 18th Century. Woven using fine local handspun wool and all-natural dyes and in fantastic condition. Soumaks also know as Suzani or Shiraki are intricate flat weaves, woven using warp replacement technique. Weaving Soumaks requires significantly more skill and time compared to a regular flatweave.
