Antique Harsin Morqi Fine Kilim 4.4SQM
Antique Flatweave Kilim, Handwoven in the famous Village of Harsin, west Persia. Handwoven from fine local handspun wool and using all-natural dyes. Well-known by collectors worldwide, Harsin Kilims are famous for their unique sense of colour and design.
Kilims are a terrific type of rug that is usually made from wool which is interwoven rather than knotted; this means that the surface is ‘flat’ instead of having a ‘pile’. Kilims exhibit some of the most original and unique designs within Persian rugs, with simple fields of colours, geometric shapes and symbols and motifs of flora and fauna. With their minimal design elements, they are perfectly suited for various interiors.
