Jajims Are strip woven textiles woven on small narrow horizontal looms. Each Jajim is made of number of stripes stitched together to form one larger piece. Jajims can be very heavy toquite light depending on the type of wool and the weaving technique used. From floor pieces to large blankets, clothes wraps or curtains They were traditionally used for a variety of purposes by nomadic people all around Persia, Anatolia and central Asia, Each nomadic confederacy would have a unique signature style of weaving which can produce many different types of Jajims.
